Ofita is one of the two major system furniture manufacturers in Spain. Its task for us was complex: Design a systemic structure that allows different stylistic features while functioning in different scenarios. It was to take into account cultural conditions, especially those of the South American and Mediterranean markets. After two years of development, a system consisting of three program groups was presented at ORGATEC in Cologne: “Versa Innova” with die-cast aluminum legs, “Versa Natura” with wooden sides, and “Versa Origins” with trapezoidal steel profiles.
A special feature is the third level for better workplace organization and connection of several monitors. Slender two-seater sofas as communication elements between individual workstations or for integration into bench or team configurations are just as much a part of the design as the matching accessories.
