esmo automation offers its customers from a wide variety of industrial sectors a comprehensive range of services in the fields of industrial automation as well as special machinery and plant engineering. In 2019 Struppler Industriedesign was able to develop the design concept for a new esmo line. The focus was on the modular construction of the system, which is reflected in function and design. UniCell consists of a variable modular system that can be extended and scaled to meet customer-specific requirements. The platform structure can accommodate a wide variety of functional units and can be used as a stand-alone or system integration solution.
With UniCell, manufacturing and cleaning processes can be mapped and test and measurement procedures can be performed. The modules can be connected to each other by conveyor elements. Following the project, we designed the device handling system Talos for another division of the esmo group, esmo semicon.
